PinUP Popper Baller Installer does make installation easier, but it’s not just a simple process of running an installer and everything is 100% ready to go. As well as the VP community and table developers.

We owe it to the team of developers/hobbyists that created all the software components included in this package. Today, it’s much easier -though not exactly simple but easier.
Pinball wicked pinballx manual#
Back in 2018 I attempted a manual installation of VPX, it took days to get it working and a few times I almost just gave up. This package makes it much easier to get setup today, compared to just a few short years ago.

It’s important to highlight, many people have contributed to PinUP Popper Baller Installer and the included software components.

The content here will grow over time as I learn and experiment more and receive feedback from you. This guide is meant to assist with the initial ALP setup, not an exhaustive guide for each of the included components nor extensive customization options. I want to make this guide as easy as possible but keep it focused for use with the AtGames Legends Pinball machine. You may have a better experience as well if using the AtGames Arcade Control Panel as there is a custom JoyToKey mapping (below), which will take advantage of the additional buttons the Control Panel provides. This guide will assume that you have a VIBS board already installed, if not please see here. While not required, it’s highly recommended that you have also installed the VIBS Board to utilize the backglass on your ALP to display the artwork for the selected tables and scoreboard/DMD content.

You can also purchase the offline Pro Mode version that includes the entirety of TPA plus the Arcooda key for $499, for those that haven't purchased any of the game yet. If you already own the Steam version of the game, you'll only be paying for the Arcooda key. The bad news is this is only available until June 30th, and it doesn't come cheap. If you buy the Arcooda Cabinet version, you also get touch screen functionality, digital tilt, and perhaps the coolest feature of all, 3D without glasses when used with a Kinect camera for head tracking. You can buy the standalone, offline version of the software for play on any cabinet. The good news is that Arcooda is no longer making this exclusive to their cabinet. New lighting and graphical tweaks also are featured, as well as taking advantage of the ability to have solenoids and shakers function in a cabinet. Visit for complete details and purchasing.ħ6 tables have been given the cabinet mode treatment, that includes backglass and DMD functionality. Unfortunately the announcement of the loss of the WMS license has put a huge kink in Arcooda's plans, mainly that the entirety of the TPA catalog wasn't finished in time as well as the fact there's the very shortened window this will be available until. This is the cabinet mode many have been clamoring for, but it's no mere camera angle port. FarSight has been working on custom software with Arcooda, makers of video pinball cabinets.
